Helmet, the alt/metal band that got famous back in the 90s for albums like their 1994 release, Betty, is touring again. They’ll be in town for a show at George’s on Friday night. Tickets are $17-$19, on sale at George’s ticketing site.

A new free movie series in the park kicks off Friday night as well, with Spider-Man: Homecoming playing at Wilson Park at around 7 p.m.

Also in tunes, Drawing Blanks and Elephantom are at Kingfish, and Alabama band Red Clay Strays will play at Smoke & Barrel.

The Natural State Crit Series of bike races in some of the regions downtown areas will take place in Bentonville on Friday night. Each evening will have a festival-type atmosphere, and in addition to the bike races, it’s also First Friday in Bentonville, so there’s even more to do.
