We’ve kind of hit the dog days of summer here in Fayetteville, and a local pup rescue organization has decided to make the most of it.
Big Paws of the Ozarks will host a “Pup Pool Party” and fundraiser from noon until 3 p.m. this Saturday, July 10 at Grub’s on Dickson Street.
Organizers will be on hand with mini pools for the dogs, and drink specials for the humans to cool things off.
Big Paws of the Ozarks officials will be on hand as well to take donations, and sell t-shirts, tank tops, and bandanas to raise funds to support their mission to “assist in the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs that have been abused, abandoned and neglected.”
They’ll also have some dogs that are available for adoption.
