Lawn party to benefit Buffalo Watershed Alliance, NWA Land Trust

Yard games, hot dogs, live music, local beer and raising money for a couple of worthy local causes.

If all, or a portion of that sounds like a good time, maybe you should check out the second annual Lawn Party, set for Friday, July 20 at Ozark Mountain Smokehouse (1725 S Smokehouse Trail).

The event, organized by Fayettechill, will begin at 6 p.m. with a cook out (build your own regular or veggie hotdog). From there, there will be live music by Tater, Mater & Squarsh and Ozark Highballers, volleyball, horseshoes, bocce ball, cornhole, and other activities to enjoy.

In addition to the fun and games, several local organizations and businesses will be set up in booths around the grounds to showcase their products and services.

Admission to the event is $15, and 100% of the proceeds will go to local nonprofits The Buffalo River Watershed Alliance and the NWA Land Trust.

The event will be family and dog friendly, and is open to the public.
