A bi-monthly free event series that highlights local entrepreneurs will meet on Thursday, Aug. 2.
NWA Venture Mashup, presented by Startup Junkie Consulting, seeks to bring together local entrepreneurs and other members of the community for inspiration and learning opportunities.
Scheduled to speak on Thursday is Ben Clark, owner since 2006 of B-Unlimited, a Fayetteville company that specializes in screen printing and custom artwork for t-shirts and other apparel. Clark will share his story of weathering five years of struggles to finally find the company’s niche in fraternity and sorority apparel. He will also talk about building the company culture that resulted in B-Unlimited’s recent running for the Inc. Magazine list of The Best Workplaces of 2018.
The event will be hosted at the B-Unlimited offices at 2291 S. School Ave. Food and drinks (including local beer) will start at 5:30 p.m., followed by the featured speaker at 6 p.m. While the event is free, registration via Eventbrite is recommended.
