The Fayetteville Advertising and Promotion Commission is now accepting grant applications for the fall 2018 cycle.

Twice each year, the commission awards funds to groups needing financial help with promoting or starting an event. Organizers should be prepared to show how their event will promote the city, increase tourism or enhance the city’s brand.

The fall cycle will provide funds for Fayetteville events and programs occurring in the calendar year 2019. Grants ranging from $1,000 – $15,000 will be considered.

Last fall’s recipients included the Walton Arts Center’s Artosphere Festival ($15,000), Fayetteville Public School’s Weekend of Champions ($10,000), NWA Equality’s NWA Pride Parade ($7,500), the Botanical Garden of the Ozark’s Arkansas Flower and Garden Show ($5,000), and more.

The deadline for submission is 12 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17.

An application can be found online at experiencefayetteville.com/about/grants.

Funding amounts will be voted upon at the commission’s Oct. 15 meeting.
