Picture this. You, running through the A, and then pitching your awesome business idea in front of 70,000 screaming fans inside Razorback Stadium. Jock Jams playing over the loudspeakers. Folks calling the Hogs like crazy. You end your presentation by kicking a 50-yard field goal perfectly through the stadium uprights. The crowd goes wild.
OK, so that might not be exactly how it goes, but something like this could happen at the upcoming IdeaFame Live pitch contest inside Razorback Stadium next month.
The event, organized by Startup Junkie in association with Arkansas Athletics, is a 60-second elevator pitch contest for businesses, products, services, or solutions, will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15.
Startup Junkie has hosted similar events in the past, but this is the first time to do a contest like this inside Razorback Stadium.
Registration is $25 for both participants and spectators for the contest, and comes with a ticket to the Arkansas North Texas football game scheduled for 3 p.m. that same day.
Prizes of $1,000 will be awarded for the Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice winners at the event, and will be presented on the spot.
