The students are back, school is in session, and that means Fayetteville’s population is once again at full strength for the busy fall season.

That also means it’s time for some seriously big shows at George’s Majestic Lounge.

The venue last week released their full fall lineup of live music planned for the upcoming months, and as always, there are some impressive names on the list.

Two shows on the list are already sold out, including a Sept. 17 show with comedian Hannibal Buress, and the Oct. 20 show with Rainbow Kitten Surprise, so hopefully you jumped on those quickly. It looks like they added a second Hannibal Buress show, however, so you could possibly grab tickets to that one.

There are some big rock shows on the list. Dallas rockers The Toadies will be back in town Aug. 30, acclaimed metal band The Sword will perform Oct. 2, indie band Colony House will perform with locals Brother Moses on Oct. 7, and there’s On The Map presents show on Oct. 16 with Russian Circles, Nov. 23 with The Body, and on Dec. 14 with BRONCHO.

Amy Helm, daughter of former Fayetteville resident Levon Helm, is coming back to town for a show on Oct. 12, and Shooter Jennings will be back on Sept. 12, and former Ugly Americans singer Bob Schneider is coming to town for a show on Sept. 8.

Wanna dance? There are big EDM shows on the list as well, with Herobust Oct. 11, Papadosio Oct. 31, SunSquabi Nov. 8, and Minnesota Dec. 2. The two Cherub shows on Oct. 22-23 will also be plenty dance-able.

There are some big local shows as well, with Goose Set. 1, Handmade Moments on Sept. 2, the Cate Brothers on Dec. 28.

The full list is below. Tickets to several of the listed shows are already on sale at George’s ticketing site.

Go see some music.
