It’s basil-y. It’s garlic-y. It’s delicious.

It’s pesto, and next month, there’s a whole celebration dedicated to it coming up at Tri Cycle Farms.

The 7th annual Pesto Fest is set for Saturday, Sept. 8 at the farm. The event, which serves as the largest fundraiser of the year for the local non-profit farm, will feature a pesto making competition judged by local celebrity chefs, live music, kids activities, and more.

The music lineup this year includes Arkansauce, Ashtyn Barbaree and Nick Caffrey, The Home School Dropouts, and Warren Dietzel.

Kids activities include music by Marshall Mitchel, Lil Sprouts, and Shakey Bugs, an appearance by the Greedy Goats, and interactive Hula exhibition, and more.

Advance tickets are $30, and proceeds benefit the farm. For more information, tickets, or to register for the event, visit tricyclefarms.org.
