VOTE 2018: Fayetteville chamber to host local candidate forums

The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce will host a series forums for candidates in the November 2018 general election.

The events will take place in the Fayetteville Public Library’s Walker Community Room, and are open to the public.

Each forum will last one hour. Candidates will be allowed five minutes for an opening statement and five minutes for a closing statement. The forum will feature questions from the public led by moderators.

Tuesday, Sept. 4
6 p.m. – County Clerk – Emily Sledge / Becky Lewallen
7 p.m. – Fayetteville City Council, Ward 1 – Olivia Trimble / Kristifier Paxton / Sonia Gutierezz

Wednesday, Sept. 5
6 p.m. – County Assessor – William Chesser / Russell Hill
7 p.m. – Fayetteville City Council Ward 2 – Mark Kinion / Raymond Burks / Martin Bemberg

Friday, Sept. 7
5 p.m. – County Treasurer – Zane Chenault / Bobby Hill
