Air up your tires and put on your bicycle shorts, everyone. It’s time for a poker ride.

The 2nd annual MTW Poker Ride is set for Sunday, Sept, 9 beginning at Core Public House on Mud Creek Trail in Fayetteville.

Check-in is at 12:30 p.m. at Core, and after that, participants will make their way to JJ’s Beer Garden & Brewing Co. and then onto Scull Creek and Frisco trails for stops at Fossil Cove Brewing Co., Columbus House Brewery and West Mountain Brewing Co., and Damgoode Pies in Fayetteville.

Riders will receive a playing card at each stop, and the final card and grand prize will be awarded to the best poker hand at Damgoode Pies in Fayetteville where participants can enjoy free food and beer specials.

The grand prize this year is a weekend getaway at a luxury log cabin in Eureka Springs. The prize includes two nights at Cherokee Mountain Log Cabin Resort, including a gift card for dining and spending money worth approximately $700.

Entry is $50 per rider (goes up to $60 on Sept. 7), and proceeds from the event benefit Miracle Travel Works, an organization that provides financial assistance to families seeking urgent medical treatment for seriously ill or injured children.
