A regional bank is planning to open their first Fayetteville location.
Grand Savings Bank today announced plans to open their 12th branch at 15 S. Block Street on the Fayetteville Square, in the space formerly home to Terra Tots.
“Fayetteville has been on our radar for a long time. GSB’s entire team and board of
directors are thrilled to add this branch to our footprint, and we look forward to serving
customers in Washington County,” CEO Guy Cable said in a press release issued Thursday.
The bank got its start in Oklahoma, but was purchased by a group of eight investors (several of which with ties to NWA) in 2013. They operate locations around the NWA region, Arkansas river valley, and in Northeast Oklahoma.
If all goes well, the bank plans to be up and running at the new location sometime this fall.
