Austin musician Bob Schneider is coming to town this week.
The singer, who has fronted bands like The Ugly Americans and The Scabs and who has also had a fruitful solo career, is set to perform at George’s Majestic Lounge on Saturday, Sept. 8.
The prolific Schneider has released around 12 studio albums as a solo artist, and has also released dozens of live albums and collections of his demos over the years.
His latest release, titled Blood and Bones, came out in June of this year.
His work has appeared in several films and television shows over the years, including Miss Congeniality, 40 Days and 40 Nights, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, All About Steve, and others.
Ticket to the show at George’s are $18 plus fees ($20 day of show), and are on sale now at stubs.net.
