Second annual Startup Crawl combines business, beer, and bands

Fans of startup businesses, local beer, and live music can get their fill of all three at the second annual Startup Crawl, coordinated by consulting foundation Startup Junkie.

The event will be held from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14 at the U of A Research & Technology Park, and starting at 5 p.m. at over a dozen locations off the Downtown Square. Founders and employees of local startups will be on hand to talk about their work, their plans, and the entrepreneurial community. Shuttles will be available to the outlying locations off the square.

Featured startups range from yoga studio Yoga Deza, to tech companies like Qbox and Metova, to game developer Brain & Brain, to business operations services like Allterity.

Beer gardens and startup stops will feature local craft beers, with food trucks in attendance as well.

Music will be provided by Dana Louise, Arkansauce, and The Fast.

General admission is free. Souvenir beer cups with unlimited refills are $15 each, and can be purchased through the day of the event on Eventbrite.
