Fayetteville artist and musician Brian Abel will debut new work in Fayetteville this month.
Abel, known locally as a guitarist and vocalists in bands like Groaners, Bik Fliqqr, Grim Creeper, Fauxnz, and several others, will debut a new collection of digital prints and acrylic paintings titled “A Series of Tubes” tonight (Thursday, Oct. 4) at Arsaga’s at the Depot.

His work, he says, is influenced by his love of succulent plants and marine invertebrates, as well as the films of David Cronenberg and Dario Argento.
An artist reception for the show will take place from 6-8 p.m. tonight at the venue. After that, the work will remain on display for the next several weeks.
