It’s Broadway time, y’all.

The first big Broadway show of the year at Walton Arts Center opens on Friday, when The Tony®, Grammy® and Olivier Award-winning musical Jersey Boys will take the stage.

The show, which tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, features classic songs such as “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What A Night,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and “Working My Way Back To You.”

Jersey Boys opened in New York in 2005, and became the 12th longest running show in Broadway history. It has been seen by over 25 million people world wide.

A special event is planned before the Saturday show, when local mixologist Steven Idlet from Maxine’s Tap Room will lead a class on making two classic craft cocktails from the 1960s. Tickets for the class are $30, and include a history of the cocktails, tips and tricks on how to make them, light appetizers, and of course, you’ll be able to enjoy the cocktails you learned how to make.

There are still some tickets to the shows as well. To purchase, visit the Walton Arts Center box office, call 479-443-5600, or visit waltonartscenter.org.
