Pumpkin patches, corn mazes, petting zoos, and more open this fall near Fayetteville

Pumpkins from the patch at Mcgarrah Farms

Fall is here, and with it will (eventually) come cooler weather, beautiful foliage, and pumpkin-spice-pretty-much-everything over the next several weeks.

Halloween candy and costumes are out in department stores. Football season is in full swing. A few of the leaves have already begun to change from green to varying colors of fall.

It’s also the season to pick up some pumpkins and decorative gourds for carving, painting, sticker-ing, and stacking.

Of course, you could head to the grocery store for that (boring), but for those who like a little more fanfare with their fall pumpkin picking experience, there are plenty of options for that as well.

Below are eight local pumpkin patches we know of around Northwest Arkansas that will be open this season, several of them complete with hay rides, corn mazes, pony rides, petting zoo’s, and other autumn fun.

Feel free to let us know about any great new spots that we may have missed. Happy October, everyone.
