Friday night is all about comedy this week.

At Fossil Cove, you could check out a comedy show featuring the Joke and Jester Comedy tour at the brewery featuring touring comedians Jake Daniels and Tony Dijamco. It’s a free show, but seating is limited, so get there early.

Also Friday night, members of Comedians NWA will be roasting each other so hard at the 12th installment of the NWA Roast Battle League at Stage 18. Tickets are $10 at the door. Here’s a bit more info.

Broadway season is here, y’all. Walton Arts Center’s first Broadway show of the year opens Friday, with the long-running hit show, Jersey Boys. There are only five performances scheduled this year, and last we heard, there were a few tickets still available. Here’s where to get them.

The Farmers’ Market on the square will be winding down soon, so you’d better get down there and enjoy it while you can.

Sports-wise, the Razorbacks will be taking on the No. 1 team in the country at Razorback Stadium Saturday morning, when they take on the Alabama Crimson Tide. It’s an 11 a.m. kickoff.

One of the One the Map shows we wrote about recently is happening Saturday night. Montreal band Ought is in town for a show at Smoke & Barrel with locals, Ankle Pop. Here’s an interview with the band we published earlier this week.

Local party band Boom!Kinetic is at George’s, and local improv troupe Phunbags is back in action at Stage 18.

There’s plenty more below. Check it out.
