Two-time Project Runway alumni Korto Momolu will appear in Fayetteville next month.

The Liberian-born fashion designer and stylist who appeared on the hit show in 2008 and again in 2014, will give a talk, a fashion presentation, and host a Q&A beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1 at Fayetteville Town Center.

The event, sponsored by Arkansas Arts & Fashion Forum, is intended as “an opportunity for students, aspiring designers, and fashion lovers to see a selection of her works and interact with the designer.”

Momolu recently unveiled her new collection, created as a tribute to her late friend and former Project Runway cast mate Mychael Knight, at New York Fashion Week. She was recently highlighted as a ‘Top 5 Designers to Watch’ by New York Magazine. She currently lives in Little Rock with her husband and two children.

Momolu’s appearance will begin with an “In Conversation” talk at 7 p.m. After that, she will be presenting work from her upcoming Spring/Summer 2019 collection at around 8 p.m., followed immediately by a Q/A session with the designer. Light refreshments will be served.

The event is free to attend and open to the public, though seating is limited. To reserve a seat, visit the ticketing site at Stubs.net.
