Chris Tomlin coming to the Walmart AMP in 2019

Cooler weather has begin to arrive in Fayetteville, but artist announcements for next summer at the Walmart AMP are starting to heat up.

AMP officials last month announced the first artist of the 2019 season would be comedian Trevor Noah, set to perform in June of 2018.

This week, they announced the second artist of the 2019 season is Christian singer Chris Tomlin, who will perform at the venue on Wednesday, April 17.

From the announcement:

As a worship leader and songwriter, Tomlin has sold over eight million albums, 11.3 million digital tracks with 16 #1 singles. Tomlin is one of only four artists to receive the Sound Exchange Digital Radio Award for over 1 billion digital radio streams, other recipients include Justin Timberlake, Pitbull and Garth Brooks. The Grammy® winner’s list of music awards include an American Music Award, three Billboard Music Awards, 21 Dove Awards, a BMI Songwriter of the Year Award and more.

Special guests Tauren Wells, Pat Barrett, Nicole Serrano and Darren Whitehead will open the show.

Tickets to the show range from $25-$96.50, and are on sale now at the Walton Arts Center. To purchase, visit the box office in person, call 479-443-5600, or visit amptickets.com.
