Ward 2 incumbent Mark Kinion has won another term on the Fayetteville City council, and Planning Commision member Sloan Scroggin narrowly defeated Lucas Regnier for the right to serve in Ward 3 during the Nov. 6 election.

Candidates in Ward 1 and Ward 4, it appears, are headed for a Dec. 4 runoff.

Sonia Gutierez (41%) and Olivia Trimble (39%) will face off in Ward 1, eliminating Kris Paxton (20%) from the race.

In Ward 4, incumbent John La Tour (44%) will face Teresa Turk (45%) in a runoff election in the coming weeks. Adam Fire Cat received 11 percent of the vote.
