Ready or not, here comes the Holiday Season. In Fayetteville, it kicks off with the annual Lights of the Ozarks parade and lighting ceremony, and that event will take place at 6 p.m. on the Fayetteville Square. Here’s more info, including a map of the parade route.

A new show by the team behind the one-man show “There Ain’t No More” will be performed at Fenix Gallery on Saturday. The show, titled “A Confederate Widow in Hell” and starring local musician Willi Carlisle, will begin at 8 p.m. at the gallery.

Walton Arts Center has a unique show on Friday Night called Hello Sunshine x Together Live. The show, which combines speakers, storytelling, and song, is also set for 8 p.m. Here’s ticket info.

Also in performances, there’s a roast battle championship featuring local comedians making fun of each other at Stage 18. It’s part of the NWA Roast Battle League, and this is the championship round.

Music-wise, there’s a rock show at Nomad’s featuring Ghost Cities, Groaners, and TV Preacher, George’s has a show featuring locals, Mudhawk, and Goose is at JJ’s on Dickson.

Also, there are several events this weekend related to The Artist’s Laboratory Theatre’s community visioning festival called “Imagine South Fayetteville.” Here’s more info about that.

There are a couple races happening on Saturday to check out. The Kessler Trail Run is taking place on Kessler Mountain beginning at 9 a.m. On Mount Sequoyah, a new gravel bike race called the Raptor Gravel Grinder will start and finish on the mountain on Saturday.
