FHS to hold 20th Annual Homeless Vigil on Dec. 6

The Fayetteville High School Student Council will hold the 20th Annual Homeless Vigil on Thursday, Dec. 6 on campus in the space between Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the building, located at 994 M.L.K. Jr Boulevard.

Students will raise money and collect non-perishable food items on campus from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. at the event.

Students will also raise funds by selling personalized bulldog sweatshirts made by the student council. The shirts will be sold for $20, and 100% of the proceeds and donations collected will be donated to the Families in Transition program, which helps less fortunate students and their families in the Fayetteville Public Schools system.

Residents are encouraged to stop by any time from 5-11 p.m. to leave a donation.
