Set a reminder. Mark your calendar. Post some post-it notes. Enter the information into your digital calendar of choice, everyone. Roots Fest tickets go on sale next week.

Fayetteville Roots Festival organizers this week confirmed that early bird tickets for the 2019 festival will officially go on sale at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5.

The lineup for next year’s festival hasn’t been released yet, but as popular as the festival has become in recent years, it’s not a bad idea to go ahead and get tickets early, as many of the events each year end up selling out.

The initial lineup for the 2019 event is expected to be out sometime shortly after the first of the year.

Details on specific ticket packages to be on sale on Wednesday have not been released, though we expect some version of the full festival passes to be on sale, along with some type of VIP package that includes the Thursday night party at Pratt Place along with all the mainstage shows to be available. Update: Some specifics on ticket packages are now available, and included below.

Next year’s event is set for Aug. 22-25 at various locations around Fayetteville. You could also get a little taste of Roots Festival the evening of Dec. 5 when festival veterans Mandolin Orange take the stage at the UA’s Faulkner Center. Here’s more information about that. Last we heard, there were a handful of tickets for that show still available.

Tickets for Fayetteville Roots Festival will be available to purchase at therootsfest.org.
