The Fayetteville animal shelter will host a holiday open house event that includes a pet adoption special and photos with Santa from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the shelter, located at 1640 S. Armstrong Ave.
All cats and dogs can be adopted for a special $10 price during the event (see available pets).
“This is a busy time of year and we want to encourage people who are thinking about adopting a pet for the holidays to do so now – when there is a little more time to commit for training and bonding with a new pet,” said Justine Lentz, the city’s animal services superintendent.
Annie is a 7-month-old Border Collie mix
In addition, free photos with Santa will be available for kids and pets from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
