Fall commencement at the University of Arkansas is set for this Saturday, Dec. 15 at Bud Walton Arena.
A total of about 1,350 undergraduate and graduate students will participate in the ceremony this year, up from just over 1,200 from last year.
Doors to the arena will open at 7:30 a.m., and commencement will begin at 9 a.m. There will also be a pre-ceremony concert by the Commencement Brass Quintet, the U of A faculty brass quintet, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Chancellor Joseph Steinmetz will deliver the commencement address this year.
Free parking is available in the lots closest to Bud Walton Arena: lots 46, 47N, 47S, 56 and 74A, B, C and E; and in any other unrestricted parking lot on campus.
For those who are unable to attend the event, the ceremony will be steamed online.
