The first list of breweries expected to participate at the annual Frost Fest winter craft beer festival this winter is out.
Festival organizers announced the initial brewery lineup on Facebook late last month. Organizers also recently announced a venue change for the upcoming festival.
The event, organized by Fayetteville’s Fossil Cove Brewing Co. and set for Feb. 2 this year, was originally scheduled to move to Fayetteville’s Lewis Park in 2019, but organizers today announced they will return to 2463 N. McConnell Ave. again this year, the venue next to the Washington County Fair Grounds where the event was held in 2018.
“After working through the process we decided it’s best for the event to remain at (2463 N. McConnell Ave.),” said Andrew Blann, spokesperson for the brewery. “Keeping Frost Fest at last years location allows us to maintain the quality experience attendees expect from Frost Fest.”
Frost Fest debuted in 2016, and became a hit with beer lovers due to its practice of bringing in brewers and representatives from the actual participating breweries (as opposed to volunteers) to pour the beer and interact with festival attendees.
In addition to the beer, the festival will include food from local food trucks, live music by Monk Is King, Vintage Pistol and Groovement, and other festivities.
Early Bird GA tickets are on sale now online for $50, and include a sampling glass, plus all the samples you can drink. The price goes up to $60 on Jan. 7.
Beer Enthusiast tickets are also available for $70, and include early access to the festival, a larger sampling glass, and a few other perks.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Apple Seeds, Inc.
