‘Collaborations in Print and Pulp’ art show opens Jan. 26 at Walton Arts Center

A new art exhibit featuring seven artists associated with Wildwood Press in Saint Louis opens this weekend in Fayetteville.

The show, titled On Paper: Collaborations in Print and Pulp from Wildwood Press, is set to open beginning at Saturday, Jan. 26 at Joy Pratt Markham Gallery, inside Walton Arts Center.

The show features work by artists Linda Schwarz, Christine Corday, David Shapiro, Valerie Hammond, Michele Oka Doner, Juan Sanchez and Xiaoze Xie, and the new show includes prints created by the artists at Wildwood Press through “diverse print and media processes.”

An opening reception for the show is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26 in the gallery. The event is free to attend and open to the public.

Afterwards, the show will remain on display through May 4. The gallery is open Monday-Friday from noon until 2 p.m., and one hour prior to most Walton Arts Center performances.
