The Fayetteville animal shelter has a Valentines special that includes $14 pet adoptions through Saturday, Feb. 16.
The special adoption rate is for all dogs and cats (see available pets).
Justine Lentz, Animal Services Superintendent, said shelter staff are happy to help people pick out a pet that fits their lifestyle and needs.
“We all want someone who loves us for who we are, and the unconditional love of a pet can bring so much to our lives,” said Lentz.

The shelter is located at 1640 S. Armstrong Ave. and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All pets come spayed or neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. Dogs over six months of age are heartworm tested and all cats are feline leukemia tested.
