Fayetteville painter J.N. Ward will show new work at Arsaga’s this month.

Ward’s work has been on display since March 4, and an artist reception for the new show is set for tonight (March 7) from 6-8 p.m. at Arsaga’s at the Depot.

According to her artist statement, Ward’s work “creates artwork about identity through paintings and mixed media pieces. She focuses on personal relationships and her broader social relationship to the world.”

The new show will feature her oil paintings and mixed media work, that represents both older work and more recent pieces.

“Both new and old artworks are made from thinking about identity, and how it is framed by our relationships—whether our relationships are personal or more broadly connected to the world,” Ward said.

The show will remain on display through March 31.
