A project to update the lighting at the Wilson Park tennis courts is underway in Fayetteville.

Crews began replacing light poles and fixtures earlier this week. The work is expected to last through Wednesday, March 13.

The tennis courts will remain open for play, however nighttime lighting will not be available until the project is complete. WiFi equipment near the courts will also be temporarily removed. WiFi is available at the pool and playground areas.

Officials said the new lighting will provide better illumination of the courts.
