It’s Spring Break week, so the calendar is a little lighter than normal this weekend. The busy spring is coming, though, so consider this the calm before the storm.
It’s a good chance to see TheatreSquared’s version of The Wolves at Nadine Baum Studios this weekend if you haven’t already. Here’s ticket info.
Up at Crystal Bridges, the museum will host a version of their Distinguished Speaker Series with visual artist, composer, musician, film director, and writer Laurie Anderson. Here’s more about that.
Music-wise, locals The Jackson Jennings 5 are at West & Watson, and Mountain Sprout is in town for a show at George’s.
Also this weekend is the Wizard Way of the Ozarks, the unofficial Harry Potter fan convention in downtown Fayetteville. There are a ton of activities planned, including panel discussions, a vendor fair, music, a pub crawl, and other fun stuff. Here’s more info.
There’s more below.

It’s a good weekend for local music in Fayetteville.
There’s a big show featuring a trio of local bands at George’s on Saturday night with Foggy Bobcat, Drawing Blanks, and Terra Nova Kings.
Also in music, there’s a three band rockshow at Backspace with Dimesack, Musclegoose, and The Wirms.
If you’re looking for something a little more low-key, local musician Randall Shreve is playing a solo set at West & Watson.
There’s plenty more below. Have a great weekend, everyone.
