It’s a jam packed weekend in Fayetteville this weekend. Good luck choosing from all the things to do.

The Joe Martin Stage Race is happening all weekend in Fayetteville. Probably the best opportunity to watch is on Sunday when the Criterium races happen around the square. Here’s more info on how to watch.

Also in Fayetteville this weekend is TheatreSquared’s annual New Play Festival. The event features staged readings of brand new plays from some of the most promising playwrights in the country. Details are here.

Music-wise, there are some sweet shows in town. Remember the bluegrass band that got famous covering Metallica on YouTube a few years ago? They’re called Steve’n’Seagulls, they’re from Finland, and they’ll back in town for a show at George’s on Friday night. Check them out.

There’s a big old rock show at Backspace with Headcold, Tom Boil, the Phlegms, and Gardensnakes Friday night.

Also in tuens, locals Yokahoma Drifters and Ghost Cities will perform at Smoke & Barrel.

There’s a lot more below.
