One of the largest, and first, local beer festivals in Fayetteville is set to return for year eight.

Of course, we’re talking about Fayetteville Foam Festival, coming to the Fayetteville square on Saturday, May 4.

This year’s event will include more than 300 brews to sample from over 50 local, regional, and national breweries. Local breweries expected to participate include Core, Dark Hills Brewery, Diamond Bear, JJ’s Brewing Co, and Flyway Brewing.

The fun starts at 5 p.m., where attendees will be given a 5 oz tasting glass, and access to booths featuring all the beers they care to drink.

VIPs can get early entry to the festival at 4 p.m., as well as access to an area complete with heavy hors d’oeuvres, and brews created for the event by the local home brewing club, FLOPS (Fayetteville Lovers of Pure Suds).

General admission tickets are $40, VIP tickets are $80, and designated driver tickets are also available for $20. A portion of the proceeds from the event benefit The Lib Horn Fayetteville Animal Shelter, The Rangers Pantry Pet Food Bank and The NWA Breakaway Cycling Team.
