UPDATED: 2019 Gulley Park Concert Series kicks off May 30

Grab your lawn chairs, ready your picnic baskets, and dust off your dancin’ shoes, everyone. It’s almost time for the Gulley Park Summer Concert Series.

The 23rd annual series kicks off on Thursday, May 30 with a performance by local bluegrass band, Arkansauce.

Other performers this year include Devon Gilfillian, NWA Jazz, Ultra Suede, Mary Heather & The Sinners, and the Bryan Titus Trio Band.

For those unfamiliar, the concert series is organized by the city’s Parks & Recreation Department, and features free outdoor live music with plenty of room for picnic blankets and lawn chairs throughout the fields surrounding the gazebo stage at Gulley Park in east Fayetteville.

The music starts at 7 p.m., and the concerts are free and open to the public. Coolers are welcome for those who’d like to pack snacks or dinner, but food vendors are also usually set up around the park.
