Today’s Bank will be having a Birthday Party and Community Shred-it ® event. The free event will be held at Today’s Bank Fiesta Square Branch located at 2971 North College Avenue in Fayetteville on Saturday, May 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the bank’s parking lot. A free lunch will be provided. Today’s Bank will celebrate 5 years of banking at the Fiesta Square branch in Fayetteville with cash drawings and birthday cake. This location provided Today’s Bank customers with a second Fayetteville location when they opened the branch in 2014.
The public is invited to bring their confidential, personal information to the bank to be shredded by Shred-it ®. This is offered at no cost. The public will have the opportunity to dispose of documents containing personal information such as bank statements, tax records, canceled checks, pay stubs, medical records and other paperwork that may include personal data including account numbers or social security numbers. Properly destroying this type of information will help reduce the chance of identity theft occurring.
