Spring is here, and as it has for the last several years, that means it’s almost time for the biannual Square to Square bike ride.

The spring event is set for Saturday, May 18 this year. The ride will begin in Fayetteville, and will take off between 8 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., and follow the Razorback Greenway for around 30 miles north to the Bentonville square.

The ride is part of a series of events organized by the Fayetteville and Bentonville parks departments designed to inspire locals to get active, and take advantage of the area’s parks and trails.

Along the course, participants can enjoy three festive pit stops featuring entertainment, bike maintenance services, and basic ride refreshments.

The cost to participate is $35 for adults, and $25 for kids 9-13 years old. Other options include the prices for shuttles, and pre-registering for the Fall square to square ride from Bentonville to Fayetteville coming up on Sept. 7.

Shuttles will pick up at the Benton County Office Complex in Bentonville located near the Square between E Central Ave and NE 2nd St. Shuttles will drop off at the Hillcrest Towers Bus Stop in Fayetteville, located at Center Street and School Avenue.

Registration includes a t-shirt, pint glass, and finisher medal.
