The Beaver Watershed Alliance is seeking volunteers for the 14th annual West Fork White River Cleanup, set for Saturday, May 18.
Volunteer check-in begins at 9 a.m. at two locations: Walker Park in Fayetteville and Riverside Park in West Fork.
Following check-in, volunteers will be assigned to stations with site leaders along the river to clean up selected areas. After the cleanup, volunteers will return to Riverside Park where lunch will be provided. Live music is scheduled after the event, and volunteers will have the chance to win door prizes.
All volunteers will be supplied with cleanup supplies. Appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes are recommended.
To volunteer, call 479-750-8007 or just show up to one of the check-in stations at 9 a.m. the day of the event.
