Friday, May 24

The NCAA Golf Championships are taking place in Fayetteville this year at Blessings Golf Club, and thanks Tyson Foods and the Tyson Family, tickets to the event are free to the public. The first round kicked off early this morning, and there will be golf to check out all weekend. Here’s a full schedule and more info.

There are several chances to catch TheatreSquared’s fun show The Legend of Georgia McBride at Nadine Baum Studios this weekend. Better hurry, though. The show’s run will come to a close soon.

Music-wise, local trio Thanks for Nothing are back in action at Kingfish, local producer Syca is at Smoke & Barrel, and the Boston Mountain Playboys are at George’s.

There’s a lot more below.
