Walmart AMP announces new app, print-at-home ticketing system

Walmart AMP officials this week unveiled a new mobile app, and “print-at-home” ticketing system.

The new system allows patrons to have their tickets emailed to them for at-home printing, which will become the default method for ticket delivery for future shows. Concertgoers can still request for tickets to be held at will call at no additional charge, or have tickets mailed for a $3 fee. Orders with 10 or more tickets will still be mailed or held for pick up at will call.

The new PDF tickets can also be saved on a mobile device, and scanned at the gate.

The new “print at home” ticketing service will be available for any purchase made going forward (but will not work for retroactive purchases).

The new app is available for both Walmart AMP and Walton Arts Center shows, and allows for ticket purchases at both venues, push notifications for weather alerts, show info, and special offers.

To download the app, visit the App Store or Google Play.
