Friday, June 7

Local legends The Cate Brothers are playing happy hour at George’s on Friday night. It’s about as good of a way to kick off the weekend as we can think of.

Later on, there’s a five band bill of good locals, including Jamie Lou & The Hullabaloo, Dazz & Brie, Atlantis Aquarius, Foggy Bobcat, and DeFrance (also at George’s).

Kingfish has a good show as well Friday night, with Drawing Blanks, Elephantom, and Warm Trickle.

There’s more below.

Saturday, June 8

Saturday’s in the summertime in Fayetteville start at the farmers’ market on the square.

The Razorback Baseball team is playing for a chance to play in the College World Series at Baum-Walker Stadium this weekend. The Hogs will have to take two-of-three from the Ole Miss Rebels to get there in the Super Regional this weekend, and the first of those games begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning. Go Hogs.

Music-wise, locals Paper Anthem, Ashtyn Barbaree, and Makin’ Loaf are at Nomad’s, and Will Brand & the Rubber Band will perform at George’s.

There’s plenty more below.

Have an awesome weekend, everyone.
