An art auction and jazz event this week will help raise funds for an organization that purchases books for children and encourages families to read together in Northwest Arkansas.
The event, called Art, Jazz & Wine will take place on Thursday, June 13 at Art Ventures (101 W. Mountain) on the Fayetteville square.
Jazz performer Eli Dranow will perform, there will be hors d’oeuvres from Bordinos, and the wine will flow like, um, wine at the event.
There will also be an art auction featuring original paintings, prints, ceramics, photography, glass, wood objects, jewelry, sculpture, and more from a host of local artists.
The event will take place from 7-9 p.m.
Proceeds raised during the evening will benefit NWA Books for Kids, and their mission to purchase books and meals for their family literacy events held across Northwest Arkansas.
