If you haven’t seen the new version of Les Mis playing at Walton Arts Center, there are still a couple chances to do so this weekend. Here’s our review.
Texas country artist Pat Green is coming back to town for a show on Friday night. He’ll perform at JBGB at a fundraiser for Fayetteville Youth Baseball and Pagnozzi Parker Charities. Here’s more info.
There’s an Summer Solstice Art Block Party at the Spring Shop Studios in Fayetteville on Friday night. The event, organized by the folks behind Trillium Salon Series, will feature a performance by members of the Artosphere Festival Orchestra & Craig Colorusso performing nearby at the Tiny Amp House, art installations by local artists, food and drinks, and more. Also in music, there’s a big show at George’s Friday night with locals 1 Oz. Jig and Monk is King, and Smoke & Barrel has Totojojo.
Up north, there’s a comedy show at the Walmart AMP featuring Daily Show host Trevor Noah. There’s plenty more below.

Saturday, June 22
Brandi Hamilton will perform at the Juneteenth celebration on Saturday/
Saturday’s in Fayetteville start at the Farmers’ Market. Everyone knows that.
After that, there’s a Juneteenth celebration at the Garden’s at The University of Arkansas. The afternoon will include live music by Arkansas Gospel Chorale, Afrique Aya Drum Company, Brandi Hamilton and DJ Ty Walker. In addition, there will be a cookout, ice cream, games for families, inflatables, a basketball shoot-out, football toss, and other activities. Here’s more.
In tunes, Sunrise Guitars is hosting a show with Jonathan Kreisberg Trio, Funk Factory is at George’s, and Ripped Pigeon is performing at Nomad’s.
