Remember a couple years ago when local musician Barrett Baber almost won NBC’s The Voice? Now, it appears, the singing show is looking for another Fayetteville act to make famous.

According to a casting website, the voice will be hosting open auditions in three cities; Chicago (June 22), Los Angeles (June 29), and Atlanta (July 27). In addition to those open calls, casting directors will be hosting by-appointment auditions in five additional cities, with one of them being none other than Fayetteville, Arkansas.

According to the casting site, producers are seeking solo artists, duos, and trios that perform all types of music including pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop, alternative, latin, country, blues, and indie.

Portland, Houston, Albuquerque, and Boise are the other cities selected as by-appointment audition sites.

A specific date for the Fayetteville auditions has not been announced, but artists can register online to learn more.
