The Greedy Goats of NWA are scheduled to return to Fayetteville’s Wilson Park this week for another round of invasive plant clearing.

The goats are brought in a few times each year to eat honeysuckle, privet, poison ivy and other invasive vegetation as part of the parks department’s efforts to manage overgrown areas of the park.

The goats will work from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning Tuesday, July 9 through Sunday, July 13, according to a city news release.

The community is invited to watch the animals at work on the south side of the park, near Louise Avenue. Those who miss them on this visit will have another opportunity in October.
