There’s an 80s tribute band at George’s Friday night with locals, Members Only.

Saturdays in the summertime in Fayetteville start at the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market on the square. Everyone’s gonna be down there.

There’s a huge metal show at George’s on Saturday night featuring some legends of the Arkansas scene. Longtime Fayetteville act Vore, along with Deadbird (now based in Little Rock), and Fayetteville-based Bones of the Earth and Serpentine will perform together at George’s in a showcase called The Natural State of Metal. Tickets are $7 in advance, or $10 the day of the show.

The folks that are planning to re-open the legendary Rockwood Club are hosting a tour of the building on Sunday before they start renovations. After the tour, there will be a show at George’s to celebrate the start of the project with performances by Earl & Them, The 1 oz. Jig, and The Boss Tweeds. The tour starts at 3 p.m., and the music will begin at around 5 p.m. Here’s more info.
