A local event celebrating beer-tails (cocktails made with local and regional craft beers) is coming up in Fayetteville this weekend.

The fourth annual Beerology Festival is happening July 20-21 at Nomad’s two locations in town.

The event, hosted by Ozark Mixology Education, will feature beertails made by some of the most talented local mixologists the region has to offer.

It kicks off on July 20 at Nomads Trailside. From 2-5 p.m., there will be a “Beertenders Ball Mix Off,” with local bartenders paired with a dog that is up for adoption. The beertender with the best beertail will win a “full sponsorship” for their adoption fees.

The next day on July 21, an event called Pints & Pups Petting Party & Beer Tasting will take place from 2-5 p.m. at Nomad’s original location in South Fayetteville. The event is what it sounds like. A beer tasting event with plenty of shelter pets to hang out with.

In all, patrons can sample more than 50 beers, beertails, and beermosa flavors over the course of the weekend.

Tickets to the event range from $10-$18, on sale now via Eventbrite.

Proceeds from the event benefit Fayetteville Animal Shelter & Ozark Mixology Education.
