A new restaurant specializing in small plates made for sharing is now open just off Dickson Street.

The restaurant, called Project 7 Kitchen + Bar, was created by local Tyler Hamedi and partners, and is located around the back side of the building also home to Teatro Scarpino and Kream at 329 N West Ave.

Hamedi says the restaurant focuses on a small menu of just 14 items on small-to-medium sized plates, and designed to be shared. Dishes like pomegranate meatballs, roasted chicken, cilantro salmon, mushroom toast, and other items.

Instead of waiting for all the food for one table to be prepared at once, each dish is delivered fresh from the kitchen as soon as it is ready.

For now, the restaurant is open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday from 5-10 p.m., but Hamedi said they may add a Sunday brunch option soon.

The menu for the restaurant is below.
