Weekend Flyer: Why Don’t We, Ben Miller Band, and more

Friday, July 26

Ben Miller Band is in town for a show at George’s on Friday night with Little Rock band, Defrance. It’s their first show in Fayetteville since their bandmate Smilin’ Bob Lewis passed away earlier this week, and we suspect there will be plenty of folks there to raise a glass and pay their respects.

There’s a big show at the AMP with pop acts Why Don’t We and EBEN.

Smoke & Barrel Tavern has a rock show with locals Makin Loaf and Jon Shorter Band.

How about some comedy? Nomad’s is hosting one of their Southtown Comedy Night’s on Friday night with Rafe Williams.

There’s plenty more below. Click around down there for details.

It’s kind of peak Farmers’ Market season right now, so, better get down to the square on Saturday morning.

It’s the last Saturday of the month, and that means there’s a variety show happening at American Legion. This month, you can check out performances by Soapbox Congregation, Drew McLaughlin, and Jimmy Harper.

Also in tunes, 80’s Hair Band Tribute Hot Lix is at George’s, local rockers Rocket Coma are at West & Watson, Drawing Blanks and Couch Jackets are at Smoke & Barrel, and there’s a four band bill at Backspace with Ginsu Wives, Androids of Ex Lovers, Terminus, and Combat Drug.
