The Smashing Pumpkins will bring their summer tour with former Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher and his band, the High-Flying Birds to the Walmart AMP on Friday, Aug. 23, and we’ve got tickets to give away to the show.

Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan is one of three founding members still part of the lineup that began in 1988 and found mainstream success with 1993’s four-time multi-platinum Siamese Dream and 1995’s ten-time multi-platinum Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. The band’s most-recent album is Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1/LP: No Past, No Future, No Sun, released in November of last year. Recorded at Shangri La Studios with legendary producer Rick Rubin, the album is the band’s first in 18 years.

Gallagher is well known as the lead guitarist, co-lead vocalist and principal songwriter of the English rock band, Oasis. He is the lead vocalist and songwriter for the High Flying Birds, his new band that released the first of three planned EPs for 2019 earlier this year.

California rockers AFI, who have also been active since the 1990s and who have released a ton of music over the years, will open the show.

Tickets range from $35-$129.50 plus fees, and can be purchased at www.amptickets.com or by calling 479-443-5600.
