A sidewalk and drainage improvement project is underway on South Washington Avenue between South Street and 4th Street.
The work began on Sept. 4 and is expected to last about four weeks.

During this time, the road is scheduled to be closed between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Residents will be allowed access as needed, and detours are marked.
The project includes a new 5-foot-side sidewalk, curb and gutter, and storm drainage infrastructure.
